God was talking to me this morning about things, specific things I’ve been asking for. He told me, “Be yourself and speak your truth.” And I’ll tell you, tears started running down my face. It’s an awesome experience to be in the presence of my Creator, my Daddy. This is all because of Jesus, my Savior, my Brother.

God talks to me…

God talks to me early mornings, especially on Saturdays and sometimes when I’m showering. I try to keep a pencil or pen and pad handy because sometimes it’s a lot. If I don’t write things down, I’ll forget. Anyway, we talk about all kinds of things. God gives me specific instructions about things He wants me to do or things He wants me to tell people. When He tells me to tell people things, I say to Him, “Ok Lord, but You know I really don’t want to do this.” God sets it all up for it to happen. Honestly, sometimes I forget but then I find myself engaged with the person either face-to-face, on the phone or texting. Then I hear the Holy Spirit, my BFF and Nagger (in a good way) saying, “Say it now!” So I have no other choice but to say, “God told me to tell you this…”

God prepares people to be receptive

God prepares people to be receptive, that really helps. The responses have always been positive. “This is right on time or this is what I needed to hear or yes, I know but…, or this is confirmation.” Followed by, “Thank you or thanks for being obedient to God.” And I say, I’m only the messenger, doing what God tells me to do. This happened as recent as September 24, 2018. The person kept saying, “I know.” I said, “I had to tell you. This is just confirmation” and we hugged.

There has been times, in the midst of praying God tells me, “I want you to call or text this person right now and tell them this or that.” I stop and do it, and go right back to praying. Then when I hear from the person, they’ve been going through that something God knows about. This happened June 21, 2014. I texted a friend and weeks later when we met, she told me that she was contemplating suicide and that what I texted helped her get through that tough time and thanked me for being obedient to God. June 9, 2018, I made a phone call to another friend and told her what God told me to say. She said to me, “Sometimes you need someone to talk to you and tell you the truth in love. Thank you.” Both times I said, “Glory to God.” These are only two of many accounts.

I’m special and so are you!

I know what you’re thinking… and yes, I’m special! So are you! I’m God’s daughter! You are His daughter and son too! God can use anybody to do His work but He’s not going to force you or beg you. But if you are a willing vessel, make yourself available and do what He tells you to do, He will use you to touch lives and winning souls for Jesus.
