Deb: God Told Me To Speak My Truth

God told me to write a new message

There is a “True Story” about Chef Lynn that God told me to write months ago. But as you know, things are done in God’s timing. Early in the week Chef Lynn and I finally got together and we completed the story. I planned to publish it today. I had sent her the final revision for review/approval to publish but I also knew she was going to be very busy this week. Two days ago God told me that I was not going to publish Chef Lynn’s story today. I instantly was at peace because I go with God’s flow, I’m only His messenger. Instead God told me to write a new message.

Anyway, although Chef Lynn was very busy, she called me last night to tell me that she knew I had planned to publish the story today but God told her that there was one more thing she had to do before I published it. I told her, “We’re good. God already told me.” That’s the way God works. No confusion. He puts hearts at peace and in one accord.

God woke me up at 3:00 a.m.

So this morning God woke me up at 3:00 a.m.. God and I normally talk between 3:00 a.m.- 4 a.m., when everything is quiet. God does not compete with noise or distractions. Let me start by saying this, I’ve had many awesome experiences with God which I’ve shared with my husband and he has witnessed a few. I’ve also shared a few with a handful of people (those who God told me to share with because they’d understand and relate). The truth is not everybody’s heart is ready to believe and receive and that’s okay.

This is the new message God told me to write to you…

God told me to speak my truth

On October 6, 2018 God told me to “Be yourself and speak your truth.” He said it was time for me to share my awesome God experiences with the world for everyone to know that He is real. I’m certainly not the first and will not be the last. He’s called on many of us to do this. He wants to remind the world that He is not some ancient God stuck in the Bible and in the past.

God is the only true God. He is God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and of all of us. God is real, alive, performing miracles, blessing people and doing the same wonderful and marvelous things today for those who love and trust Him and Jesus Christ, as He did for those in Bible days. And He wants us to tell the world about His love, goodness, mercy and grace and all the things He is doing for us. Most importantly, He wants us to talk about His Son Jesus Christ and how He died so we can live.

God told me not to worry about what people say

God told me not to worry about what people think or say about me, to just speak the truth about our awesome Father-daughter relationship. Some people will relate because they have the same relationship. I pray that those who don’t have a personal relationship with Him yet, will have one. Sadly, there are just some people who will never experience the fullness of God’s love and all His magnificence. The good news is, it’s in your hands, if you really want to have a personal relationship with God and everything I’m telling you. Yes you can! That’s what we call free will.

If you want a personal relationship with God…

If you want to have a personal relationship with God, there are things you have to do. First, you have to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because He is the only way to God. The truth is, God Almighty, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are a package deal. It’s all or nothing at all. You can’t have one without the other. That’s just the way it is.

Second, you have to surrender all to God and allow His will to be done in your life through the Holy Spirit. You know, the grass might look greener on the other side. Well, it is not. When you surrender all to God, you are telling God that He is #1 in your life and that everything you do is to please and honor Him. Your life is in His hands and you’ll do whatever He tells you to do. This does not mean that you’re not going to mess-up. Yes you will! We all do. But God loves you and is merciful and He knows you’re not perfect. That’s why He sent Jesus Christ, the only perfect One. Jesus took care of our mess-ups on the cross. Jesus, thank you!

Mind you, the Bible is filled with messed-up people, not one of them was perfect, except Jesus Christ, of course. God showed us that He loved and blessed messed-up people and used them to do His work and He is doing the same today. God wants us to tell the world (give our testimonies) about the great things He has done and doing in our lives. Tell how He is with us and gets us through the toughest times, how He restores what we’ve lost, and how as a good loving Father, He waits on us and receives us (messed-up and all) with open arms.

Third, you got to get to know God. Many know of God but don’t know Him. There is a difference. They don’t have a personal relationship with Him. Just like any relationship, the only way you get to know the other person is by spending quality time with the person. You have to spend quality time with God, that’s the only way you’ll get to know Him. I say you because you are the one who needs to get to know God, He already knows you. There are so many ways to spend quiet time with God, i.e., when you pray, talk with Him, read your Bible and meditate on His Word.

I was in God’s presence

Okay so going back to what I said earlier, I’m going to speak my truth. So this morning when God woke me up at 3:00 a.m., I was in His presence. When I’m in God’s presence, I’m wrapped-up in His Spirit and I can’t move, it’s inexplicable. I’m in God’s world. I feel so loved and it feels so good and peaceful. If heaven is anything like this, we are in for a real treat.

Anyway, I started thanking God for everything I could think of. Then I asked Him if we were going to write a new message today since I was not publishing Chef Lynn’s story. God said yes, write about what I told you on October 6, 2018. Then I went on to praying about specific things for me and my family, referencing scriptures, in Jesus’ name. I don’t know scripture by memory but when you have the Word deep rooted in your heart, it’s amazing how the Holy Spirit will bring scripture to mind.

Then we started talking about some of the good and bad things happening to people at the precise moment we were talking. I was so overwhelmed by the horrible things, I started crying and said, “Lord, this is too much! You see all the bad and evil things happening to people all over the world, every day, every second of the day. I’m only human and I can’t handle it. Lord, I know Your heart grieves.” Then I prayed for those who are going through horrible things.

I prayed for you and your family

The Holy Spirit then told me to pray for everyone I know by name and for their families. So I prayed for you and your family by name and for specific things I knew of, referencing scriptures, in Jesus’ name. Then I prayed to God, “If I missed anyone, I know you know their names and I’m praying for them too. I’m also praying for anyone who reads this message. I don’t know what each person needs and what they are going through and I don’t have to know because Heavenly Father, You know everything. Open doors where there are no doors and make a way out of no way because all things are possible with You…” I finished praying and talking with God at 6:00 a.m..

All the above is what God told me to write and share with you.
