Deb: I’m Grateful to God!

I’m grateful to God for our amazing relationship

“This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 NLT

I’m grateful to God! I know God loves me and cares for me and takes care of me. He is my provider and protector. My parents are no longer with me but God has always been with me as He reminds me in Psalm 139 (one of my favorite, go-to psalms, love it). God knows my heart and knows that I’m not perfect. He knows I do my best to honor and glorify Him and Jesus in all I do.

I’m grateful to God for another birthday

Yes, I’m 56 years young! Happy birthday to ME!!! Woo Hoo! I’ll be honest, I forget stuff and every day if it’s not one thing it’s another, and let’s not talk about the hot flashes but I’m still grateful to God because I’m still here. I’m grateful to God for every second, every minute, every hour, every day, every week, every month, every year because it’s not promised. I don’t take my life or the people or things God has blessed me with for granted.

I’m grateful to God for life…

I’m grateful to God that I can… love, laugh, dream, aspire, succeed, forgive, standup, rejoice, heal, care, share, pray, praise, receive, give, help, comfort, encourage, inspire, build up, uplift, be kind, thankful, appreciate, celebrate and do good. To live a joyful, peaceful, purposeful, fulfilling and prosperous life; the abundant life Jesus promised in John 10:10.

I know that when things are going bad or when you are in the midst of mess and confusion, it’s hard to be grateful or to find something to be grateful for. I’ll tell you, this is the time you want to be grateful, it will help you get through whatever you are going through. You may have to dig deep or take a trip down memory lane to find something to be grateful to God for. You’ll feel so much better. Been there… done that. It works every time.
