How was your 2022?

So, how was your 2022?

Let’s get right into it… What good/happy/nice things happened to you or your loved one? Travelled, wedding, promotion, new relationship / baby / business / job / home / car, recovered from a serious illness, graduated, retired, celebrated milestone birthday / anniversary, helped someone, etc.

Did bad/sad/ugly things happen to you or your loved one? Lost a loved one / job / home / car, divorced, closed business, relationship/friendship ended, family discord / broken / not talking, bad medical news, etc.

How was my 2022?

Well, just like you, I had good things happen. As a matter of fact God gave me more than I asked for or could ever imagine (Ephesians 3:10). He was all up in my business because He is interested in every detail in my life (Psalm 37:23). I love it!

And just like you, I had my share of bad things. When I worried, was sad, crying or depressed, the Holy Spirit (my therapist) immediately reminded me, “Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT. That’s exactly what I did. “Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard you hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 NLT. That’s exactly how I felt. And I heard God say, “I got you!” Ooh wee!

The most amazing thing when bad things happened was that God made everything work together for good (Romans 8:28). Won’t He do it! Because with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Alleluia!

Life with God

Life is a mixed baggage of good/happy times and bad/sad times, ups and downs, laughter and tears, victories and failures, wins and losses, triumphs and tribulations, good and bad decisions/choices and so much more. But you know what, when God is No. 1 in your life, when you surrender all to Him, when you allow God to be God, no matter what life throws at you, you will make it, you will overcome it, you will get through it, you will be victorious. Most importantly, you will experience God to His fullest. And that’s a beautiful thing. How I know this? Because I have experienced it.

Start 2023 with Jesus!

Here’s the good news. You can also experience God to His fullest. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Do it right now! Start 2023 with Jesus! Yay!

Happy New Year!
