I have it and so can You!

I had to grow-up so I could have it!

I know some people wonder about me and that’s okay. Especially those who have known me for a very long time. They’ve seen a change. The change agent is Jesus. God’s been actively working in me through the Holy Spirit. It didn’t happen overnight, it happened over time. I could not be a baby forever. I had to grow-up! Sadly, there are people who will never grow-up. Therefore, they’ll never experience God to His fullest. While growing-up, there were many growing pains but God used each one to make me wiser and stronger and most importantly, to depend on Him solely and get closer to Him. So, now that I’m all grown-up, I have it and so can you!

Bible Reflection

“There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t even listen. You have been believers so long that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.” Hebrews 5:11-14 NLT

I have it and so can You!

There are people who are skeptical about the things I say and that’s okay. I was once there too. When I say God told me this or that, they’re like… is she for real or what? In fact, I was once on your side of the fence but thank God, now I’m on the other side of the fence. Glory to God! Clearly, I remember when I’d read or hear stories about God talking to people and all what God was doing in them, for them and through them. I’d wonder, “Who are these people?” and say, “That’s not happening to me and I’m a Christian! Hmmm.”

In 1999 when I rededicated my life to God, I was reading and studying my Bible every day. I was growing, changing and looking at things differently. So, at this point when I heard those stories I’d tell God, “I want to have that too!”  Now that I’m all grown-up I can say, “I have it and so can you!” God has been too God to me for me to keep it to myself. Got to tell the world!

Bible Reflection

“Lord, you are mine! I promise to obey your words! With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful as you promised.” Psalm 119:57 NLT

“You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised.” Psalm 119:65 NLT

What does “I have it” mean?

“I have it” means that I’m experiencing God to His fullest, I’m being my best and living my best life now to be continued in heaven. When you have it, you know God and trust Him. You know that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are always with you and you feel their love, peace, and joy, and above all that good stuff, you feel their presence.

It is experiencing the good things you can imagine and can’t imagine that only God can do and will do in you, for you and through you. And this will make you love instead of hating. It is feeling peace in the midst of mess, confusion, turmoil, pain, hurt, disappointment, betrayal… Feeling joy even when sad, heartbroken, crying… Having hope when everything around you feels and looks hopeless. It is experiencing those super natural things that can only come from God, through Christ, to equip, sustain and get you through life’s ups and downs.

Bible Reflection

“I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Ephesians 3:16-19 NLT

Think whatever you want about me

So, if you think I’m in-love with Jesus and passionate about Him. That I’m crazy about Jesus and I’m His #1 fan. That I adore Jesus and He’s my role model. That I’m devoted to Jesus and would do anything for Him. You got all that right!

Honestly, I don’t think any kind of way about you or judge you when you say or feel that way about a loved one or even about a celebrity who don’t know you, most likely never will. And keeping it real, can’t do a thing for you. I know God and Jesus know me by name. And They can do for me what no other person can. As a matter of fact, Jesus already did for you and me. He died on the cross and rose on the third day so we can live. Who can top that? Is there one? Didn’t think so.

Bible Reflection

“The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.” Hebrews 1:3-4 NLT

We’re in the last days… get it together!

Those who know scripture know very well that we’re in the last days, the signs are all around us. This is not the time to be fooling around. It’s time to get it together. Yes, this is the time to get serious about God and get right with Him. And time to get busy doing God’s work, doing whatever He tells you to do… no excuses. I know my mission… talk and write about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. There is one goal… win as many souls as possible. I know, salvation is a personal decision but we got to keep trying. God loves everyone and does not give-up on anyone. There are many lost souls out there and they’re all precious to God.

Bible Reflection

“You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 NLT

“After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 NLT
