Jesus is knocking… What are you going to do?
Are you going to ignore Jesus knocking on your door because you think you have everything under control and don’t need God? Or are you so busy and don’t have time or don’t want to make the time to open the door? Maybe you are having such a good time and think that opening the door will just mess things up? Or are you waiting for the right time (whatever that means) to open the door? Maybe you think you have lots of time so you’ll wait till later to open the door. Or you only crack open the door because you’re not quite ready, wavering or just curious. Maybe you are going through tough times, tried everything and nothing worked and decide to open the door. And let Jesus in, for just a little while, until things get better then let Him out. Or maybe… yes, just maybe you are ready to open the door all the way and let Jesus in — to stay so you can live the abundant life He promised you.
Let Jesus in — to stay!
Many of us think that when we let Jesus in, it means that we have to give-up a lot. Trust me, you’ll be gaining much more than what you think you are giving-up. You gain eternal life! Priceless!
When you allow Jesus to come in and stay, you will experience what true love is all about. There is no love like the love of God! I know this because I experience it every day, in my highs and lows. Let’s not kid ourselves, as long as we live on this earth, we will face challenges, i.e., health, finances, relationships, etc. but the good news is that once you let Jesus in, you will never ever (let me say this one more time) you will never ever have to face any adversity alone. Jesus makes the difference!
Jesus loves you so much that He will never stop knocking. Won’t you let Him in?
Bible Reflection

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NIV
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation 3:20 NLT
