Dear Friends, let us pray…
Our Father in heaven, some of our young people are struggling with many things, i.e., mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, social, financial, etc. Some struggle with self, relationships, and life. Sometimes they feel lost and don’t know what to do, helpless and hopeless, they make poor choices/decisions, and they suffer the consequences of their actions.
Most of our young people are doing all the right things but sometimes bad things happen. Some are trying hard, doing everything they can possibly do to advance, to make-it but nothing seems to be happening, they don’t feel like they’re making much headway, and they can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Even those who are doing well, have their own struggle, and sometimes don’t want anyone to know, so they pretend all is well.
God, You know each one by name. You know his/her heart, thoughts, worries, fears, insecurities, anxieties, depression, self-doubt, addictions, negative self-talk, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem/self-confidence, inner secrets… their struggles.
Our Father, we lift-up each one of our young people to You Lord. Help them Lord! Help him/her with his/her struggle. Help them find their way, most importantly, find their way to You.
Guide them through their struggles and in everything they do, with Your wisdom and strength. We pray they will listen and do what You tell them to do even when uncomfortable, not popular, or don’t understand.
We pray Lord that they will feel Your divine presence in them and with them. That they will feel the depth of Your love in them and wrapped around them. That they will know that there’s no-one who loves them more than You and cares for them the way You do.
We pray that our young people will turn their hearts, minds, and lives over to You so they can experience You to the fullest and live the blessed life (not perfect life) you planned for them before they were born… to be continued in heaven.
Our Father, bless each one of them in ways they could never imagine. Keep them safe and protected at all times. Thank You Lord for the great things You have done, are doing, and will continue to do in, for and through him/her.
Hear our prayer Lord, in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏🏽
