Sabrina Makes People’s Lives Better

Sabrina makes people's lives better

Sabrina makes people’s lives better… “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” Matthew 25:35-36 NLT

Sabrina! Sassy, charismatic, friendly, funny, outgoing, outspoken, straight-up and nosy. She can be a little “extra” at times. If you are around her long enough she’ll say something that will be an eye opening, jaw dropping, no she didn’t moment. There are times she’ll say, “I’m being mean, right?”…and I’d say “Ahhh yeah!” She claims she doesn’t like to be hugged, but I hug her anyway. Then she’d say, “Get away, I don’t like you.” Likewise, she’d say in a heartbeat, “There’s something wrong with me but God is working on me.” Pardon my English “but ain’t that the truth for most of us.” We all have something(s) God is working on. I’m just saying…

Sabrina has the BIGGEST Heart!

Sabrina has the BIGGEST heart ever! Although her family unit consist of three, you’d never know this because she always has a full house. A home filled with people she cares for in one way or another, with open arms and a loving heart. Also, she works full time but finds time to help people, no matter who you are, i.e., family, friend, co-worker, neighbor, church member or stranger.

She’s all over the place doing this, that and the other making sure everyone’s needs are met. I really don’t know how she does it. People call on her all the time because they know she cares, she is dependable and will make things happen. Also, she was a home health caregiver. Her senior clientele loved her because she was compassionate, thoughtful, thorough and cared about their wellbeing. She LOVES to give and gives without thinking it twice. What an amazing woman!

Sabrina has been practicing what Matthew 25:35-36 says. Glory to God! That’s putting the Word into action. That’s what I’m talking about! Certainly, she has touched many lives in so many different ways and has made them better. She’ll tell you “it’s not easy” but God gives her the wisdom, strength and resources to keep doing for others. Sabrina, thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do! You’re an inspiration!

WOW By The Way…

Sabrina is a devoted wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, church sister and coworker. You can count on her 100%. She is genuine and real. What you see is what you get! This is why I love and admire her so much. Jeff, her husband, L-O-V-E-S her! And she wants you to know that she calls the photo with both of them “their better halves.” Cute ahh! Anyway, these two love birds been married over 25 years but they still act like newlyweds. They have one lovely young adult daughter. Sabrina was a member of the mime ministry and is currently an usher and Jeff is a member of the choir and security at their church. Both of them are retired Army veterans. Hooah! Thank you and all veterans and active duty service members for your service!

Are you called by God to Touch Lives?

Now, can I holla at you for a minute? You, the one who family, friends, neighbors, church family, coworkers always call on for this, that or the other. And yeah, sometimes it’s not easy. It might be overwhelming or you just don’t want to be bothered. No, not today! And you know what… it’s okay to feel that way sometimes. You might even ask yourself: why are they calling me again, why don’t they give me a break, why don’t they call so and so.

The reason why you are that person everyone calls is because that is your “calling.” You are called by God to touch lives. Make other people’s lives better for His honor and glory, in Jesus’ name. You are a blessing to others! Awesome! So, if you haven’t heard these words lately, let me say them to you right now. BIG thanks for all you do for others! You are such a blessing! May God keep you and bless you abundantly.

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” I Peter 4:10 NLT

…Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to him forever and ever. Amen” 1 Peter 4:11 NLT
