Life is full of surprises! It sure is!
Life is full of surprises,
you just never know.
Everything is okay.
Life is good.
You’re feeling good.
Then surprise! Something happens.
Out of the blue,
something bad happens.
It catches you off guard.
Throws you off.
And knocks you off your feet.
Yes, life is full of surprises!
Life is full of surprises… Oh my God! Why me?
You start to wonder…
What’s happening?
What’s this?
Why me?
Oh my God!
How am I going to get through this?
Who can I trust?
Your head starts spinning.
You don’t know where to turn.
You don’t know who to call or if you should even call anyone.
Because you talk to people
but you really don’t know who to trust.
And the pain and the hurt is so deep.
You just want to cry and cry and cry your eyes out.
Tears are running down your face
like a river flowing downstream.
You want to scream to the top of your lungs.
Scream until you lose your voice.
Every negative emotion known to humankind flows through you.
Fear, anger, sadness, stress, depression, anxiety, hate, confusion,
hopelessness, helplessness, insecurity… name it.
You go through all that.
Almost at the end of your rope.
You are emotionally drained, exhausted and desperate.
Life is full of surprises, we’re not ready for.
Life is full of surprises… but GOD
Finally, yes finally, you cry out to God.
Oh my God, I need you!
Yes, I need you Lord!
I need you!
God is the only one,
through His Son Jesus,
that can get you through this and any situation.
No matter how bad it looks.
Or how bad it feels.
No matter how bad it is.
Or what folks say.
God is with you, as He promised.
He will guide you through, as He promised.
Every resource you need, He’ll provide.
He will equip you with everything you need.
And you will get through victoriously.
This will be your testimony to share.
Who do you call when life throws you a curve ball?
Share your testimony
Share what God has done for you and through you.
Tell everyone about His love.
His mighty power.
And His miracle working power in you life.
This is all for His honor and glory.
Remember, life is full of surprises but God is bigger than anything you will ever face.
