What’s going on in the world?

This is what’s going on in the world…

“Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.” Matthew 24:7 NLT

“And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides.” Luke 21:25 NLT

So what to do? Pray, pray and pray!

“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” Colossians 4:2 NLT

Prayer is not restricted to a specific time or place or church or home. You pray at any time and any place. Pray in your car driving or as a passenger. When you’re at work, classroom, etc., pray. You are at the store in line waiting to pay, pray. In the gym working out, on the treadmill, bike, stepper, pray. You are outdoors jogging, walking, biking, pray. When you’re in the midst of a disaster, a hot mess, pray. Pray, pray and pray!

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians 6:18 NLT

Let’s pray for our sisters and brothers

There is a whole lot going on in the world. Let’s pray for our sisters and brothers affected by Hurricane Harvey, the first major hurricane to make landfall in the U.S.: Texas, Louisiana, Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras, Yucatan Peninsula, Windward Island and all other affected areas.

We pray for our sisters and brothers affected by Hurricane Irma, the strongest Atlantic hurricane on record, Category 5: Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, St. Martin and St. Barts, Anguilla, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos, Cuba, Bahamas, Florida, and all other areas in its path.

Let’s pray for our sisters and brothers in Mexico affected by the strongest earthquake in a century.

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20 NIV

God’s got your back!

What’s going on in the world? A lot! There is a lot going on in the world, in our personal and family lives. Yes, we feel overwhelmed, stressed, depressed and fearful at times. But in the midst of all this, please know that God is still in control. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. God’s got your back! Hold on tight to your faith, hold on tight to God, hold on tight to Jesus and know that God is always with you and He will get you through this and anything else you may face. Pray to God in Jesus’ name and trust in Him.

“I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!” Psalm 116:1-2 NLT

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” John 14:1 NLT

What’s going on in Your World? Whatever it is… pray, pray and pray!

Hey You! Do you want to go to Heaven?

There is only one way to God and to heaven, His name is Jesus. The Name above all names. If you have decided to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Alleluia! Undoubtedly, this is the most important life or death decision you’ll ever make in your life. You will never regret making this life changing decision. If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and Savior or if you are not sure that you are saved, I encourage you to do this right now.

Say this prayer…

Our Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus I call on You according to Acts 2:21 (NIV): “And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. God our Father, I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10 (NLT): “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” I do that now! With my mouth I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Lord, hear my prayer. Amen
