Will the real God please stand up? Well this is a question we don’t have to ask because though there may be many gods, there is only One Real God… God the Father of Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ is the only way to The Real God (John 14:6).
A Divine Package Deal
Please understand that there just can’t be a conversation about The Real God, and Jesus Christ is not part of it. Why? Because Jesus is the only way to God and the only way to heaven. When you accept Jesus, you receive the gift of eternal life (John 3:16).
And there can’t be a conversation about The Real God and Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit is not a part of it. Why? Because when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (John 14:15-17).
Here’s God’s bottom line… Father, Son and Holy Spirit are a divine package deal. Can’t have one without the other. But don’t take my word for it, take God’s Word for it. So, grab your Bible and dig deep in it and you’ll find the truth and nothing but God’s truth (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Read, study, meditate and apply.
The Real Deal
God the Father of Jesus Christ, is The Real Deal. He stands out amongst all other gods. God the Father of Jesus Christ is the Creator of heaven and earth, and you and me. No other god can say that because they just can’t. I’m just saying…
Here’s the BIG deal! Though there may be many gods, only The Real God, through His Son Jesus Christ, is the only way to heaven. There is no other god that can do that. You hear me! But if going to heaven is not a big deal to you, then it really doesn’t matter who you worship. That is… until you die and end-up in the wrong place (Luke 16:19-31). Oops! I’m just saying…
So here’s The Real Deal… there is One Real God and the only way to know who is The Real God is through Jesus Christ.
Free Will
God gave all human beings the gift of free will. You choose who you want to worship (Joshua 24:15). I’m not here to judge anyone. That’s way above my pay grade. I’m here to love you and pray for you. I leave the judging to God (Psalm 75:7).
But what I will do is speak God’s truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Jesus Christ commissioned every Christian to speak God’s truth, to spread the gospel and to share our testimonies with others (Matthew 28:16:20). We got to!
Bible Reflection
“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:1-5 NLT
“So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.” John 1:14 NLT
Romans 1:18-25 NLT
“But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshipping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshipped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshipped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise. Amen!”
P.S. I encourage you to read all the scriptures referenced throughout the message. Read, study, meditate and apply. You’ll be blessed (Revelation 1:3)!
